All We Want for Kitmas: GRV Media donates 100 football shirts for underprivileged kids

This year GRV Media is helping families celebrate Christmas by backing the Kitmas appeal

Kitmas was launched in 2020 and delivered 1,000 football shirts to children around the UK who may not otherwise have received a Christmas present.

This year’s appeal launched on 10th November and this time around, alongside contributing shirts and individual donations, clubs and supporter groups are able to get involved at a local level using a feature on Crowdfunder.co.uk, their fundraising partner.

Community trusts or individual supporters will be able to quickly create a fundraising campaign of their own to ensure young people in their area will receive their club’s shirts this Christmas.

GRV co-founder and Executive Chairman Vic Daniels said: ‘This year of uncertainty will have been hugely tough on families making ends meet. With this campaign, we saw an opportunity to bring some real magic to Christmas Day for children, as well as taking the pressure off parents. We are proud to make this contribution’.

Paul Watson, the founder of the Kitmas campaign and a full-time employee of GRV Media, said: ‘This is our second year running this campaign, and we are absolutely blown away by the generosity of the British public. Last year we managed to collect shirts and raise money amounting to 1000 presents under the trees, and with donations like this we are on track to do even more this Christmas’.

GRV Media is one of the UK’s largest independent networks with a network of over 70 sites focused mainly on sport, gaming and entertainment.
