GRV Media Announces Further Key Hires and Internal Promotion

GRV Media is pleased to confirm that James Brooke has been promoted to become Managing Editor at Rousing The Kop. James has been a writer on the site for most of his three years with the company, and has been instrumental in making it one of the most popular Liverpool FC fan-centric websites on the internet.

Joe Mewis joins GRV as an Assistant Director, taking responsibility for football websites Geordie Boot Boys, Leeds United News, and Manchester City News. Joe was previously a sports content editor for Reach, covering nine Premier League and EFL clubs. He was also part of the launch team for LeedsLive and, prior to that, was an online sports journalist at the Daily Mirror.

Tom Fenton comes aboard as a Sports Content Editor, working in GRV’s SEO team. His responsibilities include content planning for the company’s Live Blogs initiative. Tom has enjoyed previous work stints with The Independent and ESPN.

Luke Randall joins GRV Media as a Senior Writer, working across our football properties. Luke spent over six years working at Snack Media in a number of key roles.

And Oscar Pick joins the company covering boxing for Bloody Knockout. Oscar recently obtained his Masters in Sports Journalism at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He picked up some freelance experience during his studies working as a freelancer for The Boxing Index.

GRV has recently confirmed that Jordan Ellis is joining the company from talkSPORT to become Managing Editor at Bloody Elbow, while Mark Hendry and Blair Meikle are joining from Reach to become Head of Scottish Football and Managing Editor of Not The Old Firm respectively.
