GRV Media is pleased to announce that Jordan Ellis has been promoted to become Assistant Director and Head of Combat Sport. 

Jordan will have strategic and operational responsibilities for Bloody Elbow (MMA), Bloody Knockout (boxing) and Bloody Slam (wrestling). He joined GRV Media earlier this year from talkSPORT.

Donagh Corby has also been promoted to become Deputy Head of Combat Sport. Donagh (or Dorby, as he is known) joined GRV in May, and enjoyed previous stints at Reach and The Irish Mirror.

Luke Randall is promoted to Managing Editor of Everton News, Geordie Boot Boys, Leeds United News and Nottingham Forest News. Luke also joined GRV earlier this year, most recently working at Snack Media.

Dale O’Donnell joins GRV Media as a Senior Writer of United In Focus. Dale was Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Stretty News.

Jakob Barnes joins GRV as a member of the football writing team. Jakob has been in the media industry for over a decade, and has enjoyed writing stints at Dexerto, The Spurs Web, Give Me Sport and SPORTbible.

Joe Griffiths has joined GRV to cover NBA and Inter Miami News. Joe was previously at news app Upday, and has worked with UEFA and PA Media.

Mathew Riddle joins GRV in the Bloody Elbow content team. Mathew joins from MMA Knockout and has previous experience working with Heavy On Sports.

Donal Long joins boxing website Bloody Knockout. He was previously contracting with Valnet’s sports websites The Sportster and Give Me Sport.

And Matthew Johns joins The Tennis Gazette team, having been a regular tennishead contributor for the last two years.

George Light joins GRV as a writer on Arsenal Insider. George joins after a successful career in education.

Alfie Culshaw also joins the writing team at Arsenal Insider, having previously freelanced at Give Me Sport, LADbible Group and The Football Faithful. 

Finally, Liam Brusby joins as a writer at Geordie Boot Boys. He previously freelanced at NUFC FEED and was a Vavel contributor.
