GRV Media is pleased to announce that Mark Hendry is joining as Head of Scottish Football, responsible for the company’s three Scottish football websites: 67 Hail Hail, Rangers News, and Not The Old Firm.
Mark is currently Deputy Head of Reach’s Football Scotland, and was previously a Deputy Editor with Reach. He has enjoyed stints at The Herald Scotland and The Scottish Sun. Mark has an extensive knowledge of Scottish football, and is known for his strong contacts in the sport and ability to break exclusive content.
And Blair Meikle joins GRV as a Scottish football writer, and Managing Editor of Not The Old Firm. Blair is currently Assistant Editor, Live Content at Reach’s Football Scotland, and has previously worked producing football content at The Scottish Sun and The Edinburgh News.
Mark Hendry said: ‘I have been aware of GRV Media’s presence in Scottish football for a while now, and I am looking forward to help further develop the brand to become the most widely read group of football websites in the country’. Mark will report into Dan Coombs, GRV Media’s Director, Global Head of Sports Content. John McGinley, the Managing Editor at 67 Hail Hail, and Cameron Willis, the Managing Editor at Rangers News, will both report into Mark.
Blair Meikle said: ‘Joining GRV is a logical next step for me. I am really excited to be able to develop Not The Old Firm, which will play to my strengths providing a broader coverage of Scottish football clubs’. Blair will report to Mark Hendry.
