GRV Media is pleased to announce that its websites hit 100,000,000 page views in August, as 12 of its websites hit all-time record monthly highs.
Football websites Aston Villa News, Boro News, Everton News, Leicester City News, Molineux News, Nottingham Forest News, Southampton News, Sunderland News, United In Focus, and Vamo Futebol all hit new records, as did MMA website Bloody Elbow and The Golfing Gazette.
Dan Coombs, GRV Media’s Director and Global Head of Sports Content, said: ‘It’s good to see some of our non-football websites bringing in record numbers. It’s really encouraging to note that over 30% of the group’s current unique users are now generated by non-football sites’.
John Verrall, Director and Deputy Global Head of Sports Content, said: ‘Although we are keen to continue to build out our existing football websites, much of our growth over the next year will come from non-football sports. We have undertaken a signficant amount of work developing our boxing, cricket, darts, motorsport, rugby league, rugby union, and wrestling platforms, and these are all already showing impressive growth. We are also launching into American Sports and Fantasy Football in Q4′.
