GRV Media is delighted to announce that Tom Llewellyn, our Head of Anime, Comics and World TV, HITC Entertainment, has been chosen as a judge for the prestigious Crunchyroll 2022 Anime Awards.

Now in its sixth year, The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are a staple event of the calendar year, where the public are asked to vote on the best series and movies of the past 12 months. 15 million people participated in last years awards. 

Speaking on being selected as a judge for the awards, Llewellyn said “I have been covering the wonderful world of anime and animated content on HITC Entertainment for almost two years. In that time, we have grown to become one of the major anime news outlets in the world, with millions of fans turning to HITC for the latest news on their favourite shows.

It’s an honour to be part of the judging team for this year’s Crunchyroll Awards, which is going to be the biggest and most competitive awards to date!”

This year’s nominees will be announced and voting will begin on Tuesday, January 18 2022 at 9 AM PST. Voting will then close on Tuesday, January 25 2022 at 5 PM PST. Winners will be revealed Wednesday, February 9.
