GRV Media is delighted to announce that its HITC Sport YouTube channel has just hit 500,000 subscribers.

Michael Ramsey (‘The Irish Guy’) and James Rutherford started the channel some four years ago, and have posted over 1,000 videos since that time.

James moved on recently to become Managing Editor of GRV Media’s Newcastle United football fan site Geordie Boot Boys and running the Elecspo YouTube channel. Michael now runs the channel with regular guest stars, including his long-suffering mum, who is much beloved by the channel fans. 

Ramsey said: ‘HITC Sport has at last hit 500,000 subs. And yes, it took its time. Crikey – Leeds United even got back into the Premier League before the channel hit half a million! 

He continued: ‘It’s without doubt the best YouTube channel on the planet, and I can’t for the life of me understand why I’m not up there sparring with the likes of Logan Paul. But many thanks to all those who have liked the videos and supported us by watching and subscribing. Here’s to the next 500,000’.
