GRV Media is pleased to announce continued expansion into its football vertical with four new hires.
Graeme Bailey joins as Strategic & Operational Head of Football, HITC. Reporting to Dan Coombs, Global Head of Sports Content, Graeme comes with over 20 years of football journalism experience, with previous stints at Sky Sports, Trinity Media, Bleacher Report, Minute Media and Planet Sport. He joins GRV from 90min.
Dan Coombs said: ‘We have streamlined HITC to become a football specific website and Graeme is joining us to lead the effort to make HITC a leading voice in football media. He has had a long and distinguished career in football journalism and has strong links with clubs, players and agents. We are looking forward to him starting in January’.

Gary Kirkpatrick joins GRV Media as Football Content Editor, working within the SEO Team, and reporting to Ed Watkinson. Gary joins from Reach plc, where he was a Live Sports Writer. He previously worked with On The Ball Academy in Glasgow.
Ed Watkinson said: ‘We are delighted that Gary is joining us, as we upskill and expand our dedicated SEO team. He is an excellent hire’.
Gary said: ‘I am very impressed by the team at GRV, and I share the company’s ambitions to make a real difference in its football vertical’.
Ben Bocsak also joins GRV Media from Reach plc, where he was a Senior Features Writer and Presenter, covering Liverpool. He previously featured in The Guardian and World Soccer and was an Editor and site expert at Fansided. Ben joins Liverpool fan site Rousing the Kop, reporting to John Verrall, Deputy Global Head of Sports Content.
And Andrew Reynolds joins the team over at Geordie Boot Boys, also reporting to John Verrall. Graduating in 2023, Andrew had previous freelance stints at The Non-League Paper and NUFC blog.
John Verrall said: ‘Ben and Andrew are excellent hires, as we beef up our club site teams to produce lively, informative and authoritative content for fans’.
GRV Media also recently announced the launch of international football site Futbol Mundo, and now has club sites covering teams in Brazil, the United States and Saudi Arabia. The company is also increasing its NFL coverage, and, following the success of F1Oversteer, is soon to launch websites covering tennis and golf.
