As part of its plans to increase coverage in the online entertainment news sector, GRV Media has hired three additional full-time staff to work across popular websites HITC Entertainment, Reality Titbit, and The Focus.

Based in India, Chaitra Krishnamamurthy, has four years experience in the media industry. She previously worked as a Features Writer at MEA Worldwide, and managed entertainment content for Sportskeeda in India.

Amber Peake joins GRV Media following a successful stint freelancing for The Focus. Based in the UK, Amber has previous experience working on a part-time basis as a Showbiz Reporter at Reach plc.

Shania Wilson has also been freelancing with GRV Media, and had previous experience in social media, and undertook an internship at Fabulous Magazine.

Liam Curtis, GRV Media’s Global Head of Entertainment, Culture & Gaming Content, says: ‘These key hires will enable the company to share writers between our three main entertainment properties. Making additional hires in India at this time will also provide us with the growth we need to deliver to our increasing global user base, and to provide a 24 hour operation in the entertainment / trending content space. 

Curtis continued: ‘We are delighted that all three of the new hires are joining the business at this important time in its development. We now have around 130 content providers and support staff, and are really focused on further developing a first class organisation for our readers and our teams’.

GRV Media’s network of 68 websites saw continued growth in the first quarter, Q2 is expected to see further sustainable growth.
