GRV Media is delighted to announce that it has hired Emma Parker from Reach PLC. Emma joins to head up the company’s expanding Social Media team, with a view to transforming this aspect of GRV Media’s business.

Previously a News and Entertainment Journalist with stints at Express Newspapers, News UK and OK Magazine, Emma comes to GRV from a Social Media Editorial role, having worked on a number of Reach’s national titles.

Vic Daniels, GRV Media’s Executive Chairman, said: ‘Emma is a great fit for our organisation. At this stage in her career, she is ready to take a lead role in setting our social media strategy and heading up a team of individuals dedicated to increasing our footprint across all main platforms. We really look forward to working with her’.

Emma Parker said: ‘I am really excited to be joining an established media company like GRV Media, and feel confident that I can make a significant difference to the business. This is a high challenge role, but I am confident that I possess the skills and experience to make a meaningful impact leading social media across the Group’.

GRV Media is also pleased to announce that it has hired Shriya Swami as a Social Media Editor, primarily focusing on Entertainment properties Reality Titbit, The Focus and HITC Entertainment. 

Reporting to Emma Parker, Shriya is currently a Social Media Executive at MEA Worldwide.

Shriya said: ‘I’m pleased to be given the opportunity to work at a company like GRV Media, and I am really looking forward to working with Emma and the rest of the social media team’.
